As we need music in the background within our title sequence. our teacher has said that we are allowed to use music as long as we have made it ourselves or have chosen it from a site that is not copy write so we have been looking at certain music sites and chosen some music. within our decision we where stuck between music that had guitar in or a piano we chose a piano within our music in the title sequence as a piano has the effect of emotions upon people easier than a guitar can, by chosen a piano we had to look for music/ songs that has a piano involved some how, and as we wanted the music to be focused from a piano in the end we have decided to chose one republic,ft timberland-'too late to Apologize' karaoke tutorial instrumental, and have gone ahead with it as this piece starts off quite soft and smooth, this carries on through out the piece which we need to represent the the girl ' leila'. throughout the instrumental the notes are soft and smooth but also changes during the song this gives of different feelings towards the music. The notes change at 1:50, which would make the title sequence edgy as this is a modern tune which would fit with our title sequence as we are basing it on today's romance and thriller. Romance is a main factor of Genres and in this instrumental the beginning starts out gracefully representing romantic side. the triller side of it is the drums in the background as well which blends together. from a personal view i like this and i find it creates different moods, these emotions, moods should be aimed at the audience as they will need to understand what the film is or get a rough idea, enough to get the basics.

we have looked at another song as well as we feel we needed a variety instead of sticking to one idea of a song that has piano involved so we have looked at Yiruma- a river flows in you piano instrumental. i like this instrumental as well but this is too soft throughout giving of more emotions than we need and has no representation of moods that are scary or hint in anyway to suggest something bad as we need a part of 'danny' the fact that he is not a nice character within the piece.The notes are high and are very similar from start to finish and does not allow a emotional effect that creates all different feelings as we are aiming for the audience to have we have chosen not to have this as our title sequence music.

this is another one of one republics songs that have been done by using a piano. i was looking round for one republic apologizes and i found this along the way,the title of the song attracted me to it in the first place'Secrets' appealed to me as in our film 'Danny' has a deep secret that leila does not know but discovers later on in the film.
this song beings near enough like the other two, at first it is a deep flow of piano notes then changes slight pause and goes back into the same notes but added instruments over the top but the piano is current throughout which is a nice effect. i really like this song as you can tell by the notes what is going on or what could go on but unfortunately this song would not really suit our title sequence as it contains drum notes that are played continuously at a different time than what would suit the title sequence. this song can create different emotions and moods which is great but there is more of a sad yet happy emotions than a unsure feeling, a scary thrill to it which doesn't represent danny in any such way. the instrumental has a great effect, personally when i listen to this i feel happy and involved with the notes imagining what is or could be happening but as we need the audience to feel different emotions to get the understanding of what our film is about i decided to leave this one.

as i have looked at one republic for the previous songs that have been played by using piano i though i would look at them again as i like the style of music, soft but yet has their own input as it is modern and has a flow of beats. this one that i have chosen starts of light and flows, this is the same as the previous song i chose one republic-secrets piano instrumental the fact that similar notes are being played continuously but surprisingly can still have a great effect on who is listening to it, personally i like this one as well but again this does not have the notes to show 'Danny's character which is a big issues as we want to show both of their characters within the title sequence from a musical view/ way as it would be a good idea. this would have been good to use but as it hasn't got a creepy vibe i can not use this.

over all One republic-Apologize ft timberland ' karaoke tutorial instrumental was the best one to chose out of all four, as it is the closest that has a part of the characters 'leila' which shows a soft side and some notes show sadness which we needed & the character 'Danny' to show the 'dark' side of him the fact that he is not what he seems to be.The notes change and are more in depth giving more different emotions for the audience to feel. this helps as they can understand and recognize what is going on just from the music in the title sequence.
There are obviously a few links here that aren't embedded properly and your writing is very poorly punctuated. Sort out your capital letters as this is not an acceptable standard at A-level.
